It Sure Looking Better On The Other Side!

Happy Black History Month. I think images like this remind us that we can not tolerate prejudice, bigotry or any "ism" that causes a divide. The design of the water fountain is killing me - purposely making one to look inferior to the other. Would I have made it through back then?...Not so sure. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a rebel...but I was never one to just sit aside either.

So what does this month mean for you? Regardless of your race, I think on some level everyone can identity with a time or place where they were not treated fairly. Recognizing that fair and just treatment of individuals is necessary to spread peace, is the most important concept to keep in mind.

I am thankful for all the fallen scholars/soldiers who fought to change the thinking of the black archetype. I hope that my efforts in life serve to make you proud.

Now if we could get the word out that Africa is not a city, not a country, but a continent w/ many different cultures.... We'll be good.

(Yes, I am attacking the "I AM AFRICAN" ads).
